Looking for online or evening/weekend program

Hello All,

I am new to allnurses.com and would like to know if anyone knows of a online RN program or a progam offered on weekends or evenings, I'm in Charlotte NC. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really want to start a program but would like to know if there are any online or weekend/evening options. Thanks

Re: Looking for online or evening/weekend program

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) has a RN-BSN weekend program and they give you all the program dates up front. They have an online option as well, but they are running it this Fall. Old Dominion University has an online program and teletechnet programs as well. Act fast, the deadline is approaching for ODU, and VCU's deadline has passed.

I believe John Tyler Community College has an actual online program, Go check out their website for information. They are also in VA near Richmond.

Re: Looking for online or evening/weekend program

are you lpn? what is your background? I ask because Excelsior.edu offers a distance learning that qualifies you for the RN exam. I did that but wouldn't recommend it unless you have solid hospital/nursing home experience.
