Question Looking for a job as a new grad

I'd like to move to WA once I graduate, what's the best way to look for a job out of state? And how do I find out about the hospital's orientation program? I've found that through the hospital's websites, they don't tell you too much or don't list positions for new grads, would I have better luck calling? I don't graduate until May, but I'd like to at least know which direction to head while searching for my first job. Any advice will ease my mind for the time being, thanks guys!

I just received my license 2/14 and im still searching for a job, it seems sloooooow and i feel im running out of luck and its not like my resume' sucks i think its probably because i dont have E x p e r i e n c e.

Re: Looking for a job as a new grad

I live in Eastern Washington (much different from Western Washington, I don't know where you want to go).

We also have www.holy-family.org in this area which is also providence. Spokane also has Deaconess and Valley hospital, but they just got bought by a for profit company so I don't know how you feel about that. They actually pay about $4 less an hour too.

Oh, forgot to mention. Just call the hospital you're interested in and ask to speak to a nurse recruiter. If they dont take the time to call you back and answer your questions about orientation or any other questions you have they might not be a place you want to be.
