Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

Hello everyone.
I graduated in May of this year. I just started working on the Med/Surg unit, 3 12's a week. This is the end of my 2'nd week and I never knew a person's feet, legs, knees, and back could hurt so much. I take my NCLEX on July 31. I get sick every time I think about them. Any help as to how to study would be great. Best of luck to all the new grads.

Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

Hi everyone!! I recently took the NCLEX-RN in June and passed!! I have been working at a local community hospital for the past month. I decided to start my career on the Med Surg floor to build up my skills. Nursing is a completely new field for me. I used to work as a secretary until I decided I really wanted to help people and make a difference.

Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

Hi! I just graduated with my BSN degree this past May, started working as a graduate nurse on a small pediatric unit the first part of June, and passed NCLEX on July 2nd (with 265 question, for crying out loud)! I have had NO previous experience in health care whatsoever, even during nursing school (except for clinical, but those provided very little experience for me personally). So, everything I've experienced at work this past month has been exciting and overwhelming at the same time!

Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

Hello!

Im Mahmud, I'm in my last quarter of LPN school at NMTC. I've been reading through these forums for the past year and a half and decided to be apart of the family today. *hopefully* =)

P.S.

A lot of the post that i've been reading have gotten me through anxiety and fear of becomming a nurse. No regrets and im excited.
Thank you everyone!

Hello. My name is Stephanie. I just graduated in May and passed the boards in June. I work on an Intermediate Care Floor/Telemetry unit. I really enjoy it and cannot believe I am actually done with school and passed boards! Working on the unit has been great but I have so much more to learn!

Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

Hi, I'm Jenni, graduated from an ADN program in May and passed my boards with 75 questions on June 19! Nursing is much different than my first degree - I also have a BA in Graphic Design. I'm sure that I will love this new profession. I am starting in a Mother-Baby Fellowship on August 6th and am so excited! I'm also relocating from DC to Atlanta this weekend so... there's so many new changes happening in my life! I hope to meet new grads here so that we can bond together and get through this first year together.

Congrats to everyone and good luck!
