Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

Well.. maybe I can introduce myself here also I'm PN student but not longer, I will graduate in October! I have done some work this summer ja now I'm studying my last courses and I go work on weekends. Have to say that I'm from Finland so... here is kind of different.. I think... I have done some work in hospital, home care and old people's home. I have no idea where I'm going to work after I graduate but I'll get something...

Everyone here seems nice and it would be nice if I could get to know some of you

Hey, I am a May '06 grad, passed NCLEX in June, and am employed at the USMCFP in Missouri. Thinking of joining up with Public Health Services, we will see what the future holds.

Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

Hi everyone! My name is Erin, and I graduated in May 2006. Took NCLEX on May 24th, and passed with 75 questions! Started work on May 30th in the pediatric E.R., in a Level 1 Trauma Center. Sort of like the work, but hate the hours. Looking for a new job now. Oh, also....found out that I'm pregnant on May 17....looks like I got a little careless that last month of school!! lol I'm due Jan. 22!

Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

Hi everyone!!

I'm Erica and I graduated from nursing school August 18th, 2006 with my MN. The day after I graduated I moved from Cincinnati, Ohio to Phoenix, Arizona. I haven't taken the NCLEX yet, i'm waiting for my ATT. I started my orientation in a HUGE neuro ICU and i'm really liking it I work third shift.

Re: Let's introduce ourselves...

I just got hired today!
I was hired in the past, but never started due to a badly broken ankle....

I am actually happy the way things turned out. I feel good about the hospital and the position I chose. I interviewed for 3 places, and though the other places were great, i felt too nervous about them. The 3rd one turned out to feel just right. I really hope it is a good fit.

Its a tele unit at a community hospital. The patients are not really sick (at one of the other interviews, they claimed that most of the patients were difficult/really sick).

Good luck to all the other new nurses out there too!
