I agree with this response.
Perhaps the shift coordinators for both shifts can get together to communicate issues and concerns of their respective nursing staff. Maybe a realistic list of tasks can be prioritized between the two shifts to alleviate replications and/or overloaded tasks.
I work on days mostly, and I do get aggrevated when orders that I was unable to complete are also not carried out by the night RN but find out what happened. The night RN may have had a challenging/busy night too. Just my
