How have you balanced your family and nursing career in your first year? What advice can you give for a a new grad?

Re: Family and Nursing Career

There were many ups and downs my first year of nursing. It was a very difficult year for me. I have a family and they weren't always as supportive of me as they could have been.

I suggest that you journal. When you have downs, you can look back at good days. It is also helpful to see how far you have come.

Whatever you do, don't give up.
