Hi, I was reading your posts about UCLA and I have applied to their EL MSN program for NP. I haven't heard yet and I was just wondering if you had heard anything back from them? I'm getting frustrated! Any info you have would be great! Thanks.

My interview is on March 20th from 8:30 - 12:00. Last year I think CSUF interviewed a little over 120 people but I am not positive. I got my undergraduate degree from CSUF and I know they have an excellent nursing program, and I have heard great things from current EL MSN students. As far as I know UCLA doesn't have en EL-MSN NP program. They have an EL-MSN and separate MSN for NP program. I applied for the EL-MSN program and I was given the bad news the first week of March.

I applied to CSUF's 2008 EL-MSN, had my interview in March, and still have not heard anything. I had a friend who found out she was wait-listed on Monday. I e-mailed a couple of people to see if there's a problem that's delaying my application, and I haven't gotten any responses back. Are there others who still haven't heard back yet???

I received an e-mail message on monday that I was wait-listed. I received the official letter yesterday. I should be happy, but I'm not. I have been turned down by every other program that I have applied to so CSUF is my only hope for this fall. I sent an e-mail asking them to tell me where I was on the waiting list and what the deadline was for the original acceptees to accept or decline their offers. They would not tell me the former and still haven't answered me on the latter question. They also said that last year they took everyone who was on the waiting list, but do NOT anticipate doing that this year. Does anyone know what the deadline is?

Hi Kathliz, I was admitted earlier this week but I'm declining their offer, so wherever you are on the waitlist, you're one step closer!
They letter that they sent was mailed on Apr 26, and it said that the deadline for accepting Fall 2008 admission is May16, so you should hear back in a couple of weeks.
I've got my fingers crossed for you. It seems like a really great program & faculty.
