Need for re-evaluation

Just a thought on an issue that is bugging me just now. My work is a bit like high school ie there are groups of friends who stick together and well I'm the new girl! However, what bugs me is that these groups do not like change, and I mean down to the most basic levels. Residents on dietery drinks who do not take them and arguably do not need them are still prescribed them because nobody wants to tell the doctor they don't need them! Same things happen with dressings, once upon a time they renewed dressings daily and they still put them in to be done daily, when they do not need to be and more to the point, it is disturbing the wound to do so. I just want to invite them into the 21st century!
