Need info for B&B Retraining and toileting programs

I am a RN in long term care. I am looking to "re-vamp" our unsuccessful toileting program. I need info on what qualifies a Resident for this type program, what factors dis-qualify one? How does "dribbling" of urine come into play with a toileting program? The same questions apply to Bowel and Bladder retraining.
My staff does not fully understand how to decide which Resident qualifies for which program.
Any info will be used to educate staff members and implement toileting programs.
Thanks for any help.

UCLA and the JHA Borun research center for the elderly have an excellent (and reasonable to carry out) toilet retraining program to carry out. You can find this program (and others) at http://borun.medsch.ucla.edu

Thank you so much! We also are in the process of revamping our current program and there is some great info here!
