Question Activities/Recreation Coordinator

Hello,

I am a student double majoring in Gerontology and Nursing. I am 6 credits from earning my BA in Gerontology and I will be beginning my nursing classes this summer.

I am interested in becoming certified as an activities coordinator or recreation coordinator.

If anyone has any insight please respond at your earliest convenience. Thanks

Working as a CNA in a nursing home would give you some very
good insights, or contact an activities coordinator in a nsg home,
and see about signing up for some volunteer time, which could
provide valuable hands on to help you make the decision. As
you will learn, not everything is explained in a manual.
