Not a chance. My wife wouldn't like that very much.

Theoredics in a different life... no, I wouldn't have a problem with it.

...she'd have to be pretty hot. After a few years on the job of dealing with the grumpy old sexist bastards that they are forced to call colleagues, most female MDs end up with the personality of a used sheet of sandpaper.

LOL first you state it is "sick" and then you state "no offense"....Im not quite buying it.

I guess I think that in 2008, humanity in general shouldnt have as much of a problem with sexuality as they do. Especially for men in nursing, which I think is awesome because it takes a strong man to be able to handle a female-dominated profession (and vice versa), so I just get disheartened when I hear the word "sick" in association with sexuality, especially being gay.

I love gay men, and I love straight men. Hell I just love men.

Okay, I had to get my 3 cents in.

I will get my XX chromosome outtie.

Oh boy, do we have to go here? If you read what this was in context to, you would see that this was just a comment. Nothing that should be taken with more than a grain of salt. I have no problem with homosexuals of any race, sex, or creed, but simply feel that sexuality should be kept out of the workplace. If you are going to bring it up, that's fine, but some of us (perhaps just myself) do have a comical side, and after a long days work, have to release some of my fury, in a slightly comical way.

No harm meant, ever!

Re: Would you marry a female MD?

There's a male nurse/female doctor marriage at the hospital where I work. I don't know how long they have been married but they are middle-aged and have no children.

I get ya.

Honestly, you will never find someone who enjoys humor more than myself, but not at the expense of a group of people.

Sexuality in the workplace, ew gross. Same goes for us 'straight' people, right?

But being sexual isnt the same as sexuality. Our sexuality is something we have no control over, so how can we take it 'out of the work place'. You cant take your sexuality out of the work place, its part of you, part of your essence.

A lot of men have issues with 'sexuality' because they are afraid if a gay man comes on to them, it might "turn" them around, but its no different if a gay guy comes onto you then if some women whom you dont find attractive comes onto you, different strokes for different folks.

I actually could not care about "sexuality" in the workplace....because you cant take it out, its impossible, its part of being human being. Otherwise please tell all men in the work force (and all women) that they must refrain from flirting, as that could be misconstrued as belonging in the sexuality category.

I dont mean to turn this into semantics, but seriously Im soooo over society making remarks about gay people. Its a little 1995.

Sorry, didnt mean to personally come at you, truce?
