Re: volunteering

Dunno what Kaiser is, but going into firefighting is not going to show you how to be an RN. I should know, I am one. But if you truly want to know what the role of the nurse is like, you need to shadow inside a hospital. As a prenursing student, youare gettng a good start on things as it is, but volunteering is an excellent way to go. You may also try to get a job as a unit clerk or nursing assistant inside a hospital.
