I was made a lead RN only 6 months after getting my RN license (on a unit I had worked at full time since starting school-approximately 5 years).
I applied for and became the Manager of my unit with only three years of experience as an RN (but nearly 10 years of experience on the unit), but I had previously run a restaurant and convience store.
