Most dangerous....?

I know that professionals in the medical field deal with alot of potentially dangerous circumstances....


What is the most dangerous "specialty area" of nursing?

A lot of people would probably be quick to assume that the most dangerous setting is psych, but I believe that, if you check the literature, you will find that most studies have found that emergency departments are most dangerous setting/specialty in healthcare (at least, that's what I've read in the past).

ER & Psych; in my region there has been 7 serious assaults in ERs and 3 in psych. One of the assaults in psych was severe with life-threatening injuries. People don't have to ask why there are police officers stationed in the ER dept's round the clock.

ER.. and flight... trust me on this one....
in the ER you are exposed to whatever comes through the door...
flight... well.. you are... well... bringing ppl to the ER...

Yo dont know about nurses in ontarrrie arrie oh but military nursing is no piece of cake i tell or working pysche at a veterans hospitals vietnam vets dessert storm vet and so forth ya know whatta mean how about pysch in ltc hey that lady with the tv comin at ya hey call the boys help hmmhmm yea who said nursing was for the weak at heart
