More Job Oppurtunities??

Hi, Im 19 and trying to get into nursing school....im probly one of the few 19 year old men who chose nursing as my career choice...lol two years working for a home care agency will do that to you lol.....but the pay is great and i like helping people....i dont have the grades to get into med school so nursing was a nice alternative...but is it true that a male nurse is more likely to get a job than a female nurse?

I congratulate you on choosing a great career in nursing. Somewhere along your travels you may have heard this, and unfortunatley many individual can and do believe this.
In my experience, your gender is a matter of perspective. I see a nurse as simply a nurse, not a female or male nurse.
Your skills, knowledge and desire seperate you from others, not your gender.

Best of luck on you journey
