Re: "male" scrub top patterns

I can't really wrap my head around wearing patterns. None of them seem very masculine to me.

I do like scrubs that are single color but have a logo of some sort on the breast pocket. I have one that is Maroon and has the OU logo on it. And one time I saw a pair that had orange pants, a black top and the Harley-Davidson Logo on the pocket but I didn't have the cash with me. Now I can't find them again.

Men don't wear patterns. Period. For ANY reason. No room for discussion.... as in "Man-law"

Further grunting......

My ER standard wear:

O.R. green scrub pants (oversized) with a t-shirt from American Apparel, or the GAP. One pen, some ETOH wipes, and scissors (unless some ortho dude "borrows" them). Aspen Crocs on the toes, yo.

Also saw some ER docs with O.R. green scrub tops and tan/brown cargo pants... Nice.

No prints boys... We'll be forced to send you to the Peds unit.....

Re: "male" scrub top patterns

Marcus, Blood donor, piper for hire, and paranurse...I don't mean to get in the way of you all's grunting and chest pounding and all, BUT I have seen male patterns that were masculine and I liked them. Everyone has their own personal taste.

I am secure enough to go into nursing and I am secure enough to wear a pattern. I am not talking teddybears and rainbows. I am talking guitars and boats (two things I love). I've wore a uniform in the military and personally would like to now have my own style instead of wearing the same thing everyday. Although I realize that everyone has a right to his/her opinion, I started this thread because I am looking for "male" pattern scrub tops. I encourage you guys to continue to NOT wear patterns, but, as I stated, I am really looking for sources of male scrub patterns and not why, according to societal views, I should not wear patterns.

I thank everyone that provided links.

Re: black scrubs for males?

Black scrubs represent good taste. What do you mean "can males wear black scrubs". Wear whatever you want!

Re: "male" scrub top patterns

Talk about your basic non-problem. I occasionally think about wearing something more colorfull than a yellow t-shirt with my blue scrubs. Teddybears, camouflage or Olive Drab are just out of the questions. I'll probably just end up getting a different shade of blue scrubs.

Atleast I know I'm fine; the voices told me so!
