I was going to post this and then it occurred to me that I engage in chit chat such as "my daughter likes that show too!" or general chitchat such as "my husband and I want to travel to _____, how did you like it?" etc... a gay person should feel just as comfortable saying "my partner/mate etc... and I like to _____" or other comments that may expose their sexuality (of course appropriate general chit chat is what I am talking about).
I feel the question you should ask is: How does it feel to be taken care of by a nurse who has not come to terms with their own feelings on the matter of homosexuality. Another words: your question is stupid and reflects your own immaturity. Remember boys, "flip" your stethies and go camando. tah-tah
