I made 15.00 in North Carolina, 23.00 in LA, and 17.30 in Florida (my last employment from August this year). I am a Surgical Tech with an AA degree, certified, and a SGNA associate. I do not know if this affected my payscale. Also...I had 9 years experience. Hope this helps...
