I am new to this site as well. I am understanding it correctly, I have to post 15 messages in order to be eligable to enter the chate room?

Yes, there is a 15 post minimum for Registered members. We ask that the posts be meaningful and offer something to the site. There is an approximate wait of 24-36 hours after the 15 posts to be elligible to go to the chat room.
