Started my training in 1986 as an Enrolled nurse in the UK think it is something similar to LPN in the US. Once qualified in 1988 I worked on medical wards until I did a further course in 1997-8 taking me to RN. In 1999 worked on medical admission units for 3-4 years before deciding to work in a GP surgery due to meeting husband. I am currently taking career break whilst waiting for US visa due to change in husband's job and moving 270 miles and congrats to both of you! I'm sure you both will do an outstanding job!
