Someone might want to PM Brian before they would, to make sure a gift wasn't already made for someoen, if they wanted the gift sub to go for someone in particular.

You might have to flat out ask the potential recipient. Some people might see it as charity and not want you to do it for them.

If someone wished to donate it could all be put in one pot then someone who wants the premium membership could PM Brian explain the situation and then have the contributions be distrubited on need of someone who wants it and needs the help. Just a thought

I think it's a good idea to ask the person first if they want it, if they will accept it. That's what I've done.

I suggest if people new that a percentage of the money raised would go to Sudan relief - they might be more interested in joining.

Spacenurse just dropped a line in the: Discuss: Premium Membership and recent changes to the forums thread and said the first person to PM got the gift membership, I did and I guess it's mine Space wrote back and said I was first. I think this was a really great Idea and a wonderful gift and Spacenurse has a beautiful giving spirit.
