allnurses - fresh new look

I'm sure many of you have noticed that today, we tweaked our design a bit, moved a few things around, we hope you like the changes

Nothing major, mostly design changes, hopefully making it easier for you to scan the pages quickly, find what you are looking for, see how many users are online etc, added a search box to the bottom of the page, ...

Hope you like it

Update: Feb 6th, I just added a brief 3 min video showing the changes below

I love the changes you guys made to the forum... it's cute. I appreciate the hard work you guys do to keep it allnurses.com up and running smoothly. But I was wondering where is the "chat" feature on here?

Re: allnurses - fresh new look

Like the changes and want to thank you for all the hard work you put in to the site, but have to voice my opinion regarding the yellow. I just can't stand it. Is there anyway you could change the color scheme? Perhaps after doing a poll of the members for color preferences? I don't think I'd be the only one who is so, so tired of the yellow! Maybe even do a regular color change every twelve months or so. Anything but this constant yellow. Thanks.

Re: allnurses - fresh new look

Thanks for the feedback, keep it coming I'm glad some of you really didn't notice the change, that's what we were going for We didn't want to make huge changes, just tweaking the design.

We'll consider making differnt color options in the future

Re: allnurses - fresh new look

I like it, thanks Brian! I also like the colour, always find that theres something quite comforting about coming on to this site, with it's welcoming yellow bursts of colour!

I vote to not change stuff too much...I Love the yellow!!!!!!!!

Re: allnurses - fresh new look

I also did not notice anything. Is it possible to add more design choices, instead of completely removing the current one?
