Re: allnurses - fresh new look

I'm with the folks who didn't notice . . . . I had to really look.

Don't mind the yellow - it has always been yellow, right?

Re: allnurses - fresh new look

I like that I can see how many are currently online - I'm always curious and now I don't have to scroll to the bottom of the page to get a number.

However, I think there's too big of a difference between font sizes. "Reply to thread" is quite large but "subscribe to thread" and "allnurses announcements", etc are small in comparison. Also, the line with "MyAccount" seems empty but that's something I guess I could get used to.

I do like the color scheme though.

Re: allnurses - fresh new look

I like it, but I think the layout is a bit too narrow -- it seems to crunch the titles within the forums just a bit too much. And the quick reply box is cut off on the right side (I assume because the display is more narrow). Is it possible to add a width choice that is larger than the 900-something maximum that we're given?

Appreciate the hard work!! I love this site.

Thanks for all your kind comments!

The font size difference was intentional To help bring attention to the title and other key components, as well as make it easier to scan the page quickly.

Re: allnurses - fresh new look

I love the change and noticed it pretty quickly...it's not a glaring difference from the previous layout but is a little more efficient/easier to read. I'd have to agree about the yellow....it's a nauseating color! The suggestion to poll about color preferences was a GREAT idea...personally, I'd go for a sky blue or aqua.

Keep up the great work brian and the rest of the allnurses "family"!

I'm not seeing that at the bottom near the search as in your graphic... but I'll keep looking.

One thing that would be nice is if the list of members online could be alphabetized

Re: allnurses - fresh new look

Ah... I clicked the thingy that looks like a little shamrock in the far upper right corner next to my name/ log-out and it widened.

Now all is right with the world
