I still have pens from a few years ago and they still work, AND are regularly stolen because they write so cool. I steal em back pronto.

AN pens ink seems to last 4ever! We should have plenty to give away...along with other treats when you tell the staff your user name.

I am staying at the Holiday Inn. I am by myself, so if anyone (non smoker), still needs a room, PM, and we can make arrangements. I am flying in on Saturday afternoon.

Just checked the weather service, forcast for next Friday is lows 40's highs 60's wind 15-20 Rain chance 30%.
They have been in a cold snap with wet snow predicted for Monday with no appreciable accumulation.

NTI nurses run the whole spectrum from VERY casual to Business attire. Jeans and conservative top to casual dressy most common. Our Service men and women always look so great in their uniforms.

I got my packet with my badge, session tickets and expo card! Also got my allnurses.com postcard (along with another dozen or so) - running out of mailbox space for all the things coming in so suddenly.

I can't believe it's almost here! Really excited about meeting all of you - makes me feel like I'm not really going solo after all.

Anyone else going to the C-diff sunrise session on Wed? I couldn't pass up a breakfast discussion on c-diff! Yum yum.

So jeans are ok then? Cause I don't have alot of "business casual" type outfits and don't have a lot of money to spend on a new wardrobe....I've got some....and it's not like I'm looking for a new job so I don't have to dress to impress......but I don't want to look like a bum either.

Hope to have webcam up, thread ongoing re conference action so members can stop by and send greetings to bb, post pic if they desire. UberArchAngel, my IT geek son, coming to help Brian out with the techie stuff and assist members.

Looking forward to fun times in Chicago. I attended many AACN SEPA chapter in services +TRENDS conference in 80's early 90's when working Resp/Telemetry unit but first time at their national convention.

As to the weather - plan for cold, dress in layers and remember the conference rooms are usually cool.

Just to give an idea of crazy weather: on Monday, we had snow, sleet and hail, today is sunny and 70!!!!!!
