What are you worried about? All of those answers should be found in your med/surg book. Or....you could prabably google them yourself quicker than waiting for someone to answer you.

these are the only four questions i have trouble looking up. am turning to this forum beacuse i cant seem to find the info anywhere else. the main ones are easy, but to come up with a list of all that apply is driving me nuts, nehow thanks for reading this

Have you tried looking in your textbook? Or try a google search. We will not just give you answers. But, if you present your thought process and let us know you are actually thinking things through, then we might help a little more.

Those sound like anatomy/physiology questions that have to do with cardiovascular circulation. I have never come across anything listing seven signs of cardiac perfusion in my reading, but I've been at plenty of Code Blues in the CCU where we checked for cardiac perfusion. The most important sign we were looking for was that the patient had a peripheral pulse that we could palpate. The monitor might be showing that the heart had electrical activity (an EKG tracing), but that didn't necessarily mean that the heart muscle itself was actually beating and circulating blood around the body. So, the answer to the first question "what are 7 signs of cariac perfusion?" has to do with the person's physical signs that the heart is indeed pumping and that blood is indeed circulating through the arteries and veins.

One situation I can think of that would increase our demand for oxygen is if we exercise. We begin to breathe faster in order to fulfill the need for more oxygen. Look in the index of an anatomy and physiology textbook for "oxygen" to see if there are listings there to help you find the answers you are looking for.

Metabolic syndrome is strongly associated with heart disease and is actually a group of 4 conditions (hypertension, insulin resistance, elevated cholesterol and obesity). I know it very well because I was diagnosed with it several years ago. Here is more information on it:
