PCA calculation formula & Epidural formula to use & term Loading Dose

Hi there

I find this topic very important and would like to have a clear understanding of doing PCA calculations & Epidurals for pain management etc. As I know I will be working with these in my grad program in August. So if anyone can help me to know the calculation formula I will be very grateful.

Also i need to understand what the term Loading Dose means. I am getting confused between the dose patient receives when pressing the demand button compared to the Loading dose meaning?

Appreciate your help.
