Help with labs

I need help with my labs, I am trying to support the Nrsg. Dx. on my concept map. This is my first time doing a concept map and the first semester I have had to analyze labs.
What are labs to signify infection (besides wbc)
What about inadequate nutrition?

The ones I can think of off the top of my head are:

Infection:
  • Wound cultures/blood cultures/cultures of body fluids
  • ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate)
Nutrition:
  • electrolytes
  • serum glucose
  • BUN
  • creatinine
  • liver function tests
  • triglycerides
  • serum protein
