Forgot how to be "normal"

I'm halfway through an accelarated 16-month program, currently on a 2 week break between semesters. I feel like I can't even function without having something to read or work on for school. I have so many things to get done around my house before school starts up again and have no motivation! Maybe I just thrive on chaos!! Anyone else feel like this?

Re: Forgot how to be "normal"

Yep, I just finished my first semester and I'm on summer break and have no idea what to do. I work 2 12hr shifts and at this time can't get more work due to it being off season (Florida).

Re: Forgot how to be "normal"

I was like that last spring/summer. This year I just decided to take classes to work toward my bachelors degree. With 4 credit hours spring and another for summer I still have some time for the house and relaxing without getting overwhelmed with the boredom. I also will keep my study habits on track. I almost died of boredom last year.

Re: Forgot how to be "normal"

I could have written that!

I am also on a two-week break between spring and summer semesters. half way through a 15-month program.

Today was my first full day off after the semester from hell, and all I have done is sleep and sit on the couch feeling totally down and "flat."

Have a long list of stuff to do to get my place back into shape and I was actually excited to get to it .... maybe it was just the desire to procrastinate and not study for finals anymore that was the motivating factor.....

I hope it was just the first day and i needed the rest, hopefully I will feel better and more motivated about it tomorrow!! or the next day..

Re: Forgot how to be "normal"

I am enjoying every minute of my free time. After a brutal semester, I am going to relax, go on vacation and get ready for Med Surg 4.
