Gosh...let me see if I can remember. The heart isn't pumping effectively, blood backs up from the left atrium into the lungs. Pressure increses in the pulmonary venous system....bladdy blah...fluid in the lungs.

That's about all I'm willing to give you. Being that it took me all of 5 seconds to look up what I didn't remember. Google! Or your pathophys book will help.

Wouldn't it have been easier to Google this to begin with, rather than having to complete the allnurses registration, post a thread, and then wait for a reply? I am just not to keen on "homework" questions! Goodluck with your research.

google, you can find so much info just using the internet. Try to use reliable sources but you will get a good idea. If you don't have the book yet, why are you required to know this? just wondering....

you think i didn't googled it?? isn't that being judgemental...I've been searching this since yesterday...the reason i registered in here is that i was hoping that someone could help me...and i'm not just waiting for replies...i am also searching...or googl-ing...you can't even see me...how can you say that i'm just waiting for replies??

anyway, i'm not forcing you to give me the answer...and i'm not expecting that somebody would give me the exact answer to this problem...

and if you're not keen about "homework" questions...you should've just ignored my post...

everybody needs help...you know...

i'm sorry if i am being disrespectful...Ü

well...i think they want us to do advanced reading about pathophysio..so that we will have an idea on how to do it..so when third year comes it wont be that difficult because we already have the idea...i think..

actually, we are doing the whole comprehensive nursing process...
