Re: My Success Story

Hi Serena,

It took alot of courage to get thru your roadblocks. I believe you have a guardian angel that will stay with you now and during your nursing success! I wish you the best in life and if I ever had you as a nurse, I'd be the lucky one!

You do rock!

Sheri

Re: My Success Story

This is a huge inspiration and I loved reading every word. Congrats on your new life and being able to pick yourself back up. A righteous man falleth seven times and gets back up. You have constantly been getting up and that says a lot about you.

Re: My Success Story

Very inspiring story, Serina! Today I received two emails detailing the requirements to applying for admission into the nursing program at a community college near me. I know, I know, I've not even taken the CPR course yet or earned my CNA certificate, but I decided to go for this after a long, long time of doubtful thinking (I'm hard-of-hearing in both ears and wear hearing aides).

I do have a question for you. When you were telling all of us how you got your start in nursing (I think good nurses start their career before they've even taken a class), you mentioned that you had found out why your husband was not the helping type (he hadn't helped a lot with your mother after she fell the first time). What did you find out about him? I apologize for being nosy, but I rarely leave a stone unturned.
