I started my career in nursing as a candy striper pushing around a coffee cart in a hospital. From there I was in a health careerist program in my local high school. I went from high school to LPN training became an LPN then 12 years passed and I became an RN and now in May I will be graduating with a BSN. I have worked in a hospital, managed a physician's clinic, worked on a med-surg trauma unit then worked in Labor and Delivery for 17years and still am working casual there. I now am the nurse recruiter for my institution. I feel that I am as well rounded in the nursing profession as I can yet. I wonder where all the years have went. I feel so privaleged welcoming nurses into the institution that I am dedicated to. Happy Nurses Weekto you!!
