I am curious. I finshed in May 2005 at 57 years of age. I saw a thread saying some-one had graduated and then passed their boards. We do all our exams after our pracs and that's it. In the final year if we pass pracs and exams then we graduate. I finally got my first dinstinction that year. It was magic.

Yes, I started LPN school in August of 2005 at the ripe old age of 44, graduated in June of 2006 and turned 45 in August 2006. I worked a year as a mid night nurse in a psychiatric facility while taking prereq's for the RN program. I started the RN program in August of 2007 at the age of 46 and will graduate in May of 2008 and turn 47 years of age in August of 2008. I will be 47 starting into my BSN program. I am a mother of a 21 years old son and a 12 year old son both with disabilities. I myself am a full blown diabetic, insulin pump and all. I rank in the top 1/2 of my class in grades, presentations, and just in over all determination to succeed. Toddster you take your goals and run with them, the sky is the limit.... By the way the oldest student in my class is around 54 and he is awesome.
What matters is not our age but to remain warm, it does not matter how old one could be. Because if one is not…, better learn to make business or work with machines.
