SANE nursing and malpractice insurance

are there any SANE's (sexual assault nurse examiners) out there? as a new sane, I would be interested in your thoughts on malpractice insurance. Also, how did you receive your sane training? There are 3 of us at my Er who went to the class, unfortunatly, since there have not been previously been sane's in our Er, we have been on our own. We have done well, setting up protocols, & have had a lot of support from the rape crisis ctr as well as hosp adm & our med director, but it has been stressfull. For the first time in 20plus yrs as a nurse, its like reading about a procedure & doing it without guidance. Since my background is in ob/gyn, I at least have experince with pelvic exams & that has helped. It would be helpful to hear from other SANE's.
