Re: Yet Another TEAS question :P

Good luck. I am not sure if you get to pick which area to start with. I didn't. It was all in a sequential order and the various subjects had different time allotments. There was no working ahead or behind. There would be short breaks in between subjects.

I know it is hard not to be nervous, but try your best to relax and just let the answers flow. Do try to be expedient on the math, if something is taking too long to figure out, mark it and move along, then go back. Some people don't have enough time to finish the math. I didn't find that to be so, but others have said so. Remember it is all fairly basic math, the only thing is that you have to do all the computations, which can be time consuming. Not hard though, just tedious.

Good luck. Breathe!

I was all ready to go (nervous as all heck) and they canceled the test on me! What's worse...I was the ONLY one they didn't call and relay the message that it was postponed till tomorrow morning Oh well, I hope this isn't a bad omen! Ha!
Thanks for your help and good wishes

How did it go, Barbe? I hope it all went well. At least you (hopefully by now!) have that behind you. Sorry you had to go through hat additional inconvenience and stress.

Re: Yet Another TEAS question :P

I did just fine! Thanks for asking.....I passed! I am very excited to be starting in the fall! Yeaaa!
I can honestly say I worked myself up over something that was really not all that hard. However...it was difficult enough that a quite a few people did fail. It is such a bummer as it is a process to get back on track, and they only have one more shot to pass then they are no longer eligible. So the stakes are pretty high. Good luck to anyone taking it you definitly need to study/review for a few days before, but its not hard just really, really LONG.

My best advice is to go to the restroom just before you start the test. I was in my nervous test mode and didn't get up once for 4hrs! Yikes!
