Wrist Watch?

Has anyone purchased a wrist watch for clinicals yet? If so, what is your favorite?

Thanks!

Re: Wrist Watch?

I was thinking of getting a lapel watch and attaching it to the uniform so that I didn't have to worry about looking on my wrist.

Re: Wrist Watch?

I just ordered this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ance&n=1036592

Water resistant, glows in the dark, and has military time.

Re: Wrist Watch?

When you buy a watch for nursing there are a couple things to consider, as other people have stated:
1. make sure you can get it wet, you wash your hands several times an hour
2. make sure it's easy to use--> if you get a digital watch make sure there's a stop clock for IVP meds
3. make sure it's cost effective (a good digital watch can go for $12-20 and last for a couple of years)
4. make sure it's comfortable and easy to read

Their my suggestions, hope they help.
