I'm just curious if there is anyone sitting like a duck like I am.... it seems there are so many of you who are just about ready to leave us and venture on to the Nursing Student Forum!!!

I still have the rest of this semester.... Summer Session... and fall and spring of next year before I can apply.... Once I get to that point... I'll have to wait until the following fall to start the program... sheesh... that is like forever away! Fall of 09. I won't graduate until Spring of 10. I'll be an old lady by then....36 yrs old. How can it take a person 32 yrs to figure out what they want do do with their life???

I'm just sooooooooooooooo jealous of you all! Congrats to everyone who has received their letters and for those still waiting.... GOOD LUCK!!!

Ahh... we are NOT leaving you. Thank you, I wish you good luck in your venture. I must say the wait to start school is long but less stressful then when I am actually in. I will not start clinicals till January, so for me thats the REAL start of nursing school.

Education is a long process I'll be in school for a while since I want to advance in the nursing profession.

I guess this is as good a place as any to put my first post!! I'm not waiting on a letter either because I can't apply until Spring '08 Just took the NLN test on Saturday, so I will be waiting for those result lol!

I'm not waiting for a letter, either. I have been on the waitlist at my CC for over a year. They are currently weeding out the people who changed their minds. If no one in front of me drops out, I will start there in Aug. 08. Meanwhile, I have finished all but 4 of the BSN pre-reqs, so I will apply this summer for the same start date of Aug. 08. It would be faster to get the BSN in the first place, but if a bunch of people drop out of my way and I could get into the CC this fall, I might just run with it. Most of their clinical sites are closer to home and since I have 3 small kids, I want to spend as little commute time as possible. I am waiting anxiously to see what happens with my waitlist number. And working my tail off in 4 classes this semester.

I can't petition for the BSN program at the college I want to go to until December 2007. Which would mean starting in January 2008 and graduation in 2011 ugh......

I'm just returning to school this fall to continue working on my prereqs after a one year hiatus....i took time off to have a baby!!! anyhoo, i won't be waiting for my letter for another year......

I just started my pre-reqs this semester and won't be done until probably next fall. Just really taking my time the second time around..... By then I'll be 30. It's never too late to follow your dreams
