What should I expect on the NET?

Hello,

I'm scheduled to take the NET for an RN program next Saturday.
What should I expect on the test? I've always been fairly good
with English & Science, but Math merely kills me.... *scared*

thanks!

- Jerry

Hi Jerry,
There's a thread about this, you can get more infor there.

best advice is to get the study guide and go through it before the test. It will give you a very good picture of what to expect.

All the best!

The math is not too difficult. It's just some very basic algebra and a lot of fractions and decimals - really everyday sort of stuff. Just relax and use plenty of scratch paper. I was worried sick about the NET and decided just to take it and then study if I needed for a re-take. I ended up with a 99% the first time - all that stress for nothing.

awe, thanks I'm trying to brushin up on my math skills. I'm totally
fine with pre-alg, fractions, decimals & ect.. but I'm scared of anything
beyond that.. teehee! The school only requires the applicants to be in
the 80 percentile.
