I am taking A&P I and Alg. Yeah, i suck at math like so many others but need to get my act together and get this math out of the way so I can get on the waiting list eventually.
Audrey28 I feel your pain. I am taking 11 credits/ 3 classes and I work full time and am a single parent. and when I say single parent, I mean my son has not seen his dad since Christmas. One class is online so that makes it easier. My son is 2, he goes to bed at 8:30 my plan is to start studying from 8:30 on and on the weekends he still naps pretty good so I can study then also. I can also cheat and get a quick study in during Diego. LOL. I am taking 2 science classes so I plan to take flash cards with me everywhere so if I have 2 free minutes I can study then also. I also get 1 hour for lunch everyday. Guess what I'll be doing then?
So this is all theory, I hope it works out as well in real life as it does in my mind. I think we can do it though.
i totally feel you.. i work fulltime and go to school at night while trying to plan my wedding... and during half the year i also work an additional part time job.
For fall I'm taking:
A&P I
Intro to Psychology
Nutrition (online; I hope that works out well...)
Biblical Studies- religion courses are required for he nursing school I want to go to
Spanish I just for fun
Spring '09:
A&P II
Microbiology
Abnormal Psychology
Lifespan Development
some sort of math class
I'm starting to get kinda nervous about actually taking these classes and actually learning everything. The reality of this is finally starting to hit me, I think.
I just finished my last pre-req (Microbiology) and can now apply to the nursing program. I just don't know which program I want to apply for; Fall or Summer. I think I'm going to apply for the fall and see if I get in. If I do I'm going to ask them if I can give up my fall spot if they will let go to the summer one instead.
The summer program is an acclerated program and is actually over before the one that starts in the fall.
