Hello, Everyone.
I am international student and currently on the waiting list in a nursing program. I was just wondering that how come we are not having more schools that provide R.N program in United States?
As right now, i am in California and i have been looking into different universities that provide RN program. Most of the universities do provide Nursing program but at bachelors level where by they require RN license. But then what about people who are starting from Scratch?
Most of the colleges, have waiting list and the minimum that you have is about 3-5 years and the max can stretch to 5-7 years.
Can you give me any information on how can i complete my associates in Nursing in a quicker way? (Remember associates in nursing and not bachelors. As i myself am on the waiting list in Santa Ana College.)
Need some information.
Thanks,
Jishita

Hello, Preeti.
Thanks for the suggestion. I dont know what NLN means and what is that all about? Currently, my GPA is 3.09 and i am sure that its going to go up by the end of dec.
Can you tell me that which college are you talking about in Nevada? Their website or so, so in that way i can contact them. If you would be knowing more about other colleges or uni's that provide RN program at associates level, can you tell me about them as well.
Thanks,once again.

Hi Jishita,
NLN is the enterance exam which some college use to select the students. well i was talking about the ccsn(community college of southern nevada) where i m going for my rn program. i m international student too. the website is www.ccsn.nevada.edu and no for health program office is 702-651-5690. i know only this college in las vegas and i think there is no other college in las vegas which has rn associate course. so try in this college u must get in coz ccsn accept 128 students. best of luck.
