Totally excited!!

Well I'm planning on applying for the LPN program at my CC for Sept of 08. One of the pre-req's is to have some sort of health related experience (we don't have CNA's in Canada ) So I asked him about volunteering in the office etc. He totally agreed! Most of the doctors in town are at this clinic and he said he'll see if I can rotate between different offices and at the local hospital in the ER. I am SOOO excited!! YAY!!! Just had to share my good news!! I go back and see him in 3 weeks to work out the details!

Re: Totally excited!!

Hi Jniniffer,

Sounds like a great idea and it will definitely give you more experience than someone like myself that is going into NS without any experience since 1988, when I was a CNA!!! You will definitely benefit from the chance to volunteer! Good luck~

Re: Totally excited!!

So do *most* nursing programs require work/volunteer experience? Are these BSN ADN LVN programs?
