TEAS study guide?

Ok, I need to purchase a study guide for the TEAS test and dont know which one to get-the one from ATI or the other website that was posted on here-someone claiming they can help with the TEAS. I need all the help I can get after being a SAHM for 4 years! HAs anyone had luck with either one? Thanks!

Re: TEAS study guide?

I used the ATI study guide because I wanted to know exactly what kind of math was on there since that is a weak area for me. I thought the math section was fairly accurate in regards to showing and explaining the math you would need for the TEAS. I studied that and the science section quite a bit, but I found that the science part of the study guide was a lot harder and covered a lot more info than the actual test. For example, the study guide included a pretty good amount of A&P and stuff on the Rock Cycle and the Hydrologic Cycle. There was only one A&P question on the test and nothing over the Rock Cycle and Hydrologic Cycle. There was quite a bit of Life Science and Physical Science on the test, but most of it was just reasoning based on diagrams or some info they give you and not really specific questions. That being said, if you are going to get a study guide, I would get the one from ATI for the simple reason that they are the ones who produce the test. They know better than anyone what is going to be on it. I really felt like the test was much easier than the study guide, so don't worry. You will do great! Good luck.

Re: TEAS study guide?

I purchased the ATI study guide because I thought I was going to take the TEAS. I ended up changing my mind about applying to that particular school so I didn't take the test, but I gave the guide to a friend of mine who was taking the test. She had a very short amount of time to use it, maybe 2 weeks at most, and scored in the 99th percentile. She is smart anyway, but I think the guide was helpful for her. I know that was the only thing that she used to prepare for the test.
