Taking A&P and CNA course this summer....

I'm planning to take both Anatomy and Physiology 1 and a CNA course this summer. They start at the same time and will overlap for about a month (CNA course is 5 weeks/ evenings, A&P is 10 weeks/days.) I'm wondering if this is going to get a little crazy. I know A&P is going to be pretty intense, and I'm sure the CNA course will be the same. I won't be working until I'm done with the CNA course so at least I'll have more time to study, and I do well in science, but I'm just concerned it'll be alot of information in too little time. Has anyone done something like this? What was it like? Am I nuts for attempting it?

No- I should rephrase. The courses start on the same date. Different times (one is during the day, one during the evening.) So I won't miss any classes.

As long as you can attend both I would go for it I don't think CNA classes are to bad just long, my sisters were like 5 hours every evening for a week. Just make sure you can stay ontop of your material and you will be fine. From experience don't miss lab!

You can do it! I know it's not summer but my course load right now is: CNA program, A&P II lecture & lab, Medical Terminology, Communications & Sociology--none of these online. I don't work but I have 2 kids & 2 dogs--so I hope that gives you some insight that YOU CAN DO IT!!

I took CNA classes a couple of years ago but had to stop cuz I moved unexpectedly. I'm starting back up soon and also taking A&P and another class during the summer. CNA class was very easy for me and definitely nothing to worry about! You can do it!

I am taking API and APII. The second I run into trouble studying...job is going out the window. 2 1/2 hours of lecture and 3 hour lab...runs back to back each day. They give us a 1/2 hour break so we can run and grab lunch...good thing lunch comes before lab!
