Hello to all!

Has anyone received their letters from Sierra College (Rocklin, CA) yet?
I'll admit I'm not the most patient person in the world, but now that classes are almost over, I'm wondering what to do with myself!

I'm finishing up my last prereq now, (Physio) and will be taking Anthro 2 over the summer.

All I have to do is wait....geez it's tough! Sierra is the only school I applied to for the Fall. Most of the other schools I'm looking at require all the prereqs are completed; I guess I'll be applying to at least 4 schools for the Spring!

Thanks for letting me vent; now back to studying!

No letter yet for me, either. I had Micro in progress so I'm not holding my breath as far as getting in. They have said that starting next semester, they will no longer take "in progress" apps at Sierra so I'm wondering if they will even bother for this semester. One can hope though, right?

I'll keep you posted if you keep me posted.

I will definitely let you know as soon as anything shows up in the mail. I can't wait for our mail person to deliver; it's like an obsession at this point!

Where are you taking Patho? Online? I'm taking Anthro 2 online; starts on Monday. If I don't get in (I'm not holding my breath either), I'll be taking Math D, and maybe Eng 1C, in the Fall.

I'm taking Patho online through Yuba - I just got in yesterday. I'm hoping to add Stats through Sierra (which is where I've taken all my other prereqs). I've got Pharm and Med Term lined up for Fall.

I'm right there with you on the mail time - I just can't wait to know one way or another so I can start figuring out my next plan. I hate indecision!

Well, I've been officially declined by their 'computerized random selection process' and they do not tell you where you are on the alternate list (they specificially say not to call).

No surprise but disappointing, nonetheless.

Bummer. I'm sorry. I didn't even apply there because they wanted me to take English 1A even though I had taken the AP English exam and a composition class more advanced than 1A.

I think they were only taking 20 people. Hopefully next semester!

Well, I received my Sierra letter this Saturday 5-10-08 for the RN and was not accepted. There were something like almost 500 applicants. This lottery is frustrating.... I am still waiting to hear about the LVN at Sierra, so i'm hoping i'll get into that one. I guess I will be camping next to my mail box this week, as I am assuming that the LVN letter will follow shortly. Let us know what you hear!

I got my rejection letter from Sierra the same day I got accepted to ARC (5/10/08). Sierra seems to have a great program but it's just difficult to get in.

I got my denial letter from Sierra yesterday. I have a girlfriend who is in their 3rd semester right now and she was a lucky 1st time applicant that got right in!
