Should I take genetics?

One of the schools I am applying to requires either genetics or an extra humanities class in its place. I don't understand the rationale that humanities and genetics can be interchangable, but I digress. I have already taken the extra humanities class, but should I take genetics anyway? Would this class help me in nursing school, or in my nursing career? I really love biology, and the genetics class is really watered down, so I am confident i could pull an "A." Any thoughts?

Thanks

Re: Should I take genetics?

Sounds like a good idea; genetics is interesting. The rationale for a humanities class may be to produce a well-rounded student, plus you will be working with all kinds of people as a nurse and humanities classes can help prepare you for that.

Besides, it's always a good idea to take classes you'll get an A in .
