Question - Shady nursing schools.

I was accepted to a school called Holden Healthcare in Nashua, NH. Classes were to start in January 2008, a few days before it was to start, I recieved a call that the class would start in April..well It is now April 24th and again class did not start...they really will not go into detail as to what is happening. I told them I wanted my money back and they told me that I am on the list for refunds from the board of nursing. I just wish I did not waste my time with this school. I have applied to 4 other schools in Boston, I got put on a waiting list for one, and still waiting to hear from the others. Has anyone had any issues with shady nursing schools?

I'm sorry to hear this. I'm confused, why would the BON give you a refund and not the school. Did you pay the school? Have you tried contacting the BON to see if it's true that you are receiving a refund from them?
