I was wondering who has already been accepted to Samuel Merritt's ELMSN program for this Fall? I have seen posts from people who have interviews and some from people who have been accepted. Just wanted to create a thread where all of us waiting to hear something could talk with those who have heard something. I am still waiting. I had problems with getting my references in and actually just turned them in Thursday this week, so I did not really expect to hear anything yet.
So anyone who has been accepted or been through the interview process who wishes to share that would be great. I was looking at SMC's fact book which outlines all the metrics they use to make improvements to their programs and found that they admit anywhere from 24-29 people every Fall for the ELMSN FNP program and also the stats for those who were admitted. I know of three people who have been admitted so far and I am not sure how many people have interviewed or have been invited to an interview. Please do share! : )
Congratulations to all of those who have been invited to interview and who have been accepted. Hopefully I will be able to join your ranks in the near future.
Has anyone actually heard how many applications there are for the ELMSN program...either/both CM and FNP? The metrics at the link above has a pretty high acceptance rate for the CM tract (47% for one year that I saw) and a pretty good acceptance rate for the FNP tract (highest I saw was around 30% if memory serves). Sure beats 7% at UCSF! Best of luck to everyone!
