Their ADN program costs around $60,000 for the entire thing! Kinda pricey for a 2 year degree. I graduated from RMC with a BA in Business Management but they insisted if I were to apply for the ADN program I would need to take the ACT test again and I would only be juded based off of my HS GPA and my pre reqs for the program. Uh sorry, I'm 30 years old with 15 years more life experience AND a college degree- I'm not taking a test designed for a 15 year old kid. They were accepting 20 students for the next session in the fall. They did tell me though that since it's run out of the Chicago campus they would be doing clinicals at places like Northwestern Rush and UIC ....definetly terrific clincial sites but I'm just not in the mood for another 60K in student loans.
Wow, $60,000 is quite pricey for an associate degree! Plus, the fact that they don't seem to be accredited with any organization concerns me. They just told me that RMC prepares you to work as an ADN nurse in Illinois. And what you just wrote sounds really odd, you're a graduate from that college and yet you still have to take the ACT? I'm with you, I'd love those clinical sites, but I still think I'll take a pass on RMC. Thanks!
