Need Information - question

Hello

I have been accepted into nursing program here in St. Louis area beginning in Aug 08. I am having difficult time finding a job despite my marketable skills as a medical assistant and also clerical skills. I haven't been able to job network because i really don't know anyone in healthcare field. I think my main problem is that in the past in jobs i quit after a short time. During those time i quit I was having some personal problems including depression which i soon resolved and have returned to church which has helped me tremendously.
I highly recommend that to anyone going thur a difficult time.

Anyway does anyone have suggestions on how to find a job. Is there a way to find recruiters in healthcare facilities and call them and skip hr dept?

Thank you.
