...me?

I'm finishing Micro and OChem this semester

Random question: Does anyone know an accredited online college where I could take physics, chemistry or biology? All the courses I want to take at three different community colleges ALL overlap. What are the odds huh...

Here are two places that Sonoma State recognizes...

Online chem class from Weber State: http://earlycollegeadvantage.com/ChemClassOnline/

Coast Comm College has many online classes: http://dl.ccc.cccd.edu/

Another accredited CC is Yuba Community College which has many online classes: http://www.yccd.edu/soc/index.html

Most of my profs pretty much go ballistic when they either notice someone texting or someone's cellphone buzzes. I don't think when someone is texting they realize how much that tap, tap, tap can be heard!! But to me it sounds really loud.

I'm like you. When I'm in class, the cellphone is OFF completely and I face the teacher. Who just happens to look at me when s/he asks a question of the class. So hey, I'll take the Brownie Points. Goodness knows I don't have a hot body on my side!!!

This is a true story: For me, the cellphone is a necessary evil that I use as little as possible. I never text. Ever. Ever. I don't know how to text and I'm not interested in learning. If I want to speak with someone, I'll pick up the phone and call them. But I understand that lots of people love it, and for today's youngsters, it's what they grew up with. So one day my hubby decides to text me. Even though I told him never to text me because I can't figure out how to retrieve and then erase the message! This day, I do figure out how to retrieve the message, after calling my number and first being puzzled that I had no new voicemail, despite the little envelope appearing on my phone. So I called my husband and I said, "What does "I LESS THAN THREE YOU" mean?" He burst out laughing and told me to look at it again. Then I got it!

I suppose one of these days I'll have to get good at texting, since everyone seems to prefer it these days....
I never text either. I'm one of these that's lucky to remember to charge the battery on my cell phone...I guess it's just not important enough to my existence.

Yay for Krista! She got into Humboldt!

This thread has been dead for a while

Just wanted to wish everyone good luck on finals because I know these next couple of weeks are going to be HELL for me! Damnit, Ochem!

Good luck to everyone who is still waiting and for the friends I've made on here, keep in touch and tell me how the program is! I will probably still check back on the forums from time to time even if I decide not to take the nursing route

Vacation in 2 weeks...you know what that means.....summer school!
