Re: A&P II Winter/Spring '08

Hi- all Thursday was a first class, I was excited to get back into class. This is my last pre-req to get into the Nursing program. We have the same prof. and I really like the way he teachs so I am confident I can pull off a good grade. Just study study study!

I started A & P II last week. Hope the rumors I've heard aren't true and II won't be harder than I.

Re: A&P II Winter/Spring '08

I had an easy ride in A&P I because we spent like half the semester on Chemistry and Cell Biology, and I had taken both those classes already. A&P II will be harder because it is all new material.

Re: A&P II Winter/Spring '08

I have already taken human anatomy (covering the anatomy of all body systems), so half of the material in A&P II will be/should be review for me. I am taking it online, however, which I don't like as well - I like the face-t0-face interaction better. The professor also is not too organized, which is a huge pet peeve of mine.

Good luck to everyone!

I started this week with physiology. We just went through the basics, which was review for me since I studied the stuff in anatomy and biology. I thnk this semester will be enjoyable. We sill see.

Little late, but maybe still helpful to someone.......

Re: A&P II Winter/Spring '08

We just finished week 3 of a&p2 and our first lecture exam is looming on Tuesday of next week. It will cover the endocrine system, the blood and the heart. I feel pretty ok about the blood, but I will happily used the links posted to check out the slides for the practical exam on Feb. 5th. The endocrine system I am feeling a little shaky about, though. The heart, I've not really had a chance to finish the reading and she sped through the lecture like lightning, and I don't think many people had read the chapter yet because there were like NO questions. *sigh* So I'm a little nervous about that, too. I'll be studying all weekend, to be sure.

Re: A&P II Winter/Spring '08

Whoa! I am about to take my first exam this Monday (study all weekend fun! or so says the gf) and honestly we didn't cover a lot of what is on this website http://cellbio.utmb.edu/microanatomy...endocrines.htm .

I'm wondering, am I getting ripped off in my education? Will I have to study harder and more if and when I get in to nursing school? Now I'm scared for my future!
